We should have just named him Buzz....

Twas the night before potty training....

....and all though the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.

The undies were stacked by the potty with care

in hopes a little boy would think they were exciting to wear!

Cleaning products were ready with rags galore

in case some pee ends up on the floor.

The washer is empty and and lid remains open

waiting for all those items that got a good soakin'.

Stickers are ready, a prize poster is hung

songs about "pee" and "potties" I'm sure will be sung.

I've been told not to worry, "By kindergarten he'll be fine!"
but I think I should pray for extra patience and grace till that time!

For MiMi and Grandma....because you've been waiting for like 4 months!!!

It's been so long since my mom has posted anything!!! Really, what DOES she do with her time?!?! She'll try and be better, but let me catch you up a bit and let you know what I've been up to this fall....

We went apple picking....
Had our 1st fire of many to come in our fire pit....
...and my first smore...mmmmmm!!!

We made pumpkins....
We painted spiders.....
...and ourselves.....
We made pumpkin shirts....
and played outside....



We made mummies to eat....
and spooky brownies....
And me and my favorite cowboy have been just hanging out having a good ole time :-) Happy Halloween!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY DADDY!!!

This year for father's day, Tyler and I made something quite special we think Craig will LOVE! He is big on trail mix so we made a "home-made" batch including a few loves of Tyler's and of Craig's. We got all of our "fixings" that we thought would make it super yummy. From the get-go Tyler was MOST excited about the M&Ms, he kept asking "Can we put these in...can we put these in?!?!?".....
First we put in mixed nuts.....Then we added raisins....Then we added pretzels.....oh...wait.........yes....there we go....then we added pretzels....
Then we finally added the most special ingredient...M&Ms....one for me....
....one for you....

A few more for me....
And once all of our special ingredients were in, we had a very scrumptious looking trail mix to give to Craig.....minus a few handfuls!
And, as the mommy, my MOST favorite part of the whole thing (yes, even more than the M&Ms!) was the label we made for it....
We stamped Mr. Tyler's little pointy finger and made a few "trail bugs." My favorite is the bee! Anything is cute when made with little fingerprints! Tyler told Craig tonight, "I made you Father's Day! I made you Father's Day! I made it with M&Ms!" At least he knows which ingredient is the most important. Well, besides the LOVE of course :-) Happy Father's Day Craig! We love you!

It's been awhile....

Wow! Over a month since my mom's last post?!?!? She sure is slacking on her job! ;-) I've been busy over the last month playing outside and all! Here's the scoop on what I've been up to.....

Since mom and dad haven't buckled under the pressure and bought me a real dog yet....Great Grandma took me to Build-a-Bear and I built one...his name is Murry the dog....


I found out I LOVE the Easter Bunny - He's so cute and fluffy!


He tried to get away from me....


....but I found him again!!!


My Auntie Kim came home....


I went on a date to the zoo....


Oh how embarrassing, mom caught us holding hands!


Dad and I humored mom and tried to act excited about family craft time...

I've watched the lawn crew mow our lawn many times so far this summer and Monday is a very exciting day in this house because that is when the garbage truck comes!!!


And after much research and many hours of play testing....
I've determined I need a bigger sandbox!
